There are benefits and disadvantages. Living now makes it easier to not stress about the future. Living now makes you want what you want when you want it with no regard to how getting that now will effect you later on. Makes you spend money you don't have. Not go to work and get fired and not have a job to make it further down the road.
While many people need to remember they have the rest of their lives to do whatever they want... they still need to worry about now.

Yes, Marijuana does impair your judgement. It is illegal and that is enough to make one paranoid. But if you can live with the danger and without having to pass drugtests. My belief is that it is worth it.
